Cheap Good Wine 2009 Vintages

Cerrillos Carmenere 2009 Bottle

This bottle of Chile’s flagship grape varietal was made by Alvaro Espinoza, the pioneer of South American biodynamic wine making. With its spicy notes it pairs wonderfully with heavy meat dishes… the greasier the better.

Viña Litoral Ventolera Sauvignon Blanc 2009 Bottle

Jump Rope Chardonnay 2009 Bottle

Lemon and peach notes distinguish this Australian chardonnay from its usual buttery American counterparts. Pairs well with white fish.

Moulin Montarels Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 Bottle

Red Flute Merlot 2009 Bottle

A good wine to pair with a non-fancy BBQ dinner of greasy cheeseburgers and sausages.

Pennywise Pinot Noir 2009 Bottle

As long as you’re not uptight about what a Pinot Noir should be, you will enjoy this very fruity, almost poppy wine. A great wine for non wine drinkers.

Evodia Old Vine Grenache 2009 Bottle

As this is my first Grenache, I can’t compare it to others, but what I can say is that for the price this is an excellent bottle of wine. Subtle raspberry and blackberry flavors finish with superb clarity. A good wine to relax with.
